Paul joined the Arbor Capital team as a financial advisor. He focuses on wealth planning and ERISA plan design, as well as fiduciary advising for Alaska Native Corporations and local Alaska businesses.
Paul started his career as a licensed banker at Wells Fargo Bank, where he built a strong foundation advising on assets and liabilities on a client’s balance sheet. Paul was later promoted to Retirement Plan Counselor at Great-West Retirement Services where he was responsible for administering and counseling on over $3 billion in retirement assets. After his role in retirement plan consulting, Paul was promoted to a Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab—where he advised clients on all aspects of wealth planning. Prior to joining Arbor, Paul’s most recent role was at a local credit union, where he advised on client assets, ERISA plans, and financial planning.
Paul is an Alaska Native who shares traditional culture and values with his children. He is passionate about improving financial literacy throughout Alaska and helping Alaska Native organizations support their leadership, staff, and communities. Paul’s first memories originate on the Nushagak River, and he currently resides in Wasilla, Alaska. Paul is married to his lovely wife, Heidi, and they have six children together. They have also fostered multiple children in their community. When he’s not working, Paul enjoys playing the guitar, biking, hiking with his family, cornhole, and playing table tennis with his kids.
