Kirby has served as Principal and Investment Advisor for Arbor since 2015, and he holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Digital Asset Advisor (CDAA).

Though a North Dakota native, Kirby views Alaska as his home. Prior to joining the Arbor team, he spent five years in the insurance and risk management industry in Kenai, where he worked with numerous businesses and organizations throughout the Peninsula and the State of Alaska. While in Kenai, he served as the commissioner for the Kenai Softball Association, and he also serves on the state Amateur Softball Association classification committee.

Kirby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Jamestown, where he double majored in Financial Planning & Wealth Management and Accounting, with a minor in Business Administration. When he’s not working, Kirby enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
