Joshua joined Arbor Capital Management in 2020 and serves as a financial advisor. Prior to joining the Arbor team, Joshua served in the Marines for nine years on four continents with Marine Reconnaissance and Marine Special Operations. His experience with risk mitigation in uncertain environments helps him to navigate clients’ investments in uncertain times.

A Fairbanks native, Joshua returned home to Alaska in 2016 to raise his family and begin a new chapter in life. He started his own construction company and continued investing in local real estate while earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

These experiences uncovered Joshua’s passion for finding value in investments and sparked his desire to pursue a career-focused more exclusively on investing. He sought out a passionate team of professionals to partner with in helping people achieve financial freedom and peace of mind, and he was gratified to find just that at Arbor Capital.

Joshua is currently pursuing Wealth Management Certified Professional and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Joshua is a lifetime member of the NRA, a GOA member, ACAST board member, GVEA-MAC member, and FNSB animal control commissioner.

He is married to a professional firefighter and paramedic and is a proud dad to one daughter. In his free time, Joshua enjoys hiking, hunting and shooting, dip netting, and raising large dogs, horses, and other farm animals. He is an Advanced Open Water Diver through PADI, and he enjoys snow machining and four-wheeling in the great outdoors.
